Barbara Constantinou

 Barbara Constantinou is a registered Nurse and Midwife with over 20 years experience. She qualified as a general nurse in 1987 and as a midwife at Mowbray Maternity hospital in Cape Town in 1989. She completed a diploma in Childbirth Education at RAU (now University of Johannesburg) in 1997, passing cum laude.

With great passion and commitment and after many years working in public and private hospitals including the Red Cross Children's Hospital, Groote Schuur Hospital and Park Lane Clinic - Barbara built up her reputation and skills and currently runs her well-established Well Baby Clinic in Bedfordview (Bedfordview Mother and Baby Centre), arguably one of the largest private clinics in the country; where the scope of services has expanded to include childbirth education classes, immunisations, phototherapy, baby weighing and development assessments, advise and support (breastfeeding, postnatal depression, twins etc). An array of value-add services such as baby massage, clay footprints, and Christmas photography are also available through the clinic. The clinic supports Dukathole informal settlement through a church charity supplying food, clothing, toys and more to needy children.

 

She is a well-respected Speaker and Presenter on Parenting and provides regular talks nationally on maternal and child health. Barbara has been in private practice for 14 years and runs the Bedfordview Mother and Baby Centre. Barbara is passionate about parenting and empowering parents with knowledge, information and skills needed to actively participate in the birthing and parenting of their child. Barbara will be providing valuable Parenting Tips and Tricks at the ReelMom Movie and Moms Workshops on Wednesday 30 November and Thursday 1 December 2011.

Jacqui O’Bree

Jacqui is the owner of Fullife Coaching and Training. She is a qualified life coach, writer and motivational speaker. Before launching her own consultancy Jacqui worked as a Regional Marketing Manager for the Netcare Private Hospital Group.

Jacqui runs group workshops and coaches individuals – from executives, small business owners, house wives and moms. She is a regular contributor to Fitness Magazine, a popular key note speaker at various events and has a weekly Life Coaching radio slot on Mix 93.8 F.

Louise Licina

Louise Licina is the owner of My Change, the company which distributes a range of natural and organic beauty products. Louise also writes a ‘health and beauty’ newsletter and provides workshops on health, beauty and nutrition. Louise studied beauty therapy in 1992 and has worked for companies like Clarins, Juvena and Lilian Terry Aromatherapy. Volunteer work is a priority for Louise and she volunteers at “Look Good Feel Better” amongst others. Believing that one can always learn and grow, Louise is studying holistic nutrition and has completed a raw food course. These have assisted her in healing her body of some major and minor ailments including polycystic ovarian syndrome. Louise believes that if one can make nutritional, lifestyle and mental changes, healing can take place.

Yoga is one of Louise’s favourite activities and she spends much time reading and researching the beauty and health industry. This ensures she is always at the forefront when it comes to new information, products and trends.
